So...I am terribly behind on my Thankful Thursday posts....so I've decided to take this time I have on Saturday and use it for that :)
Today I am thankful for....the beautiful day the Lord has given us....and all the rain ;)
Today I am thankful for.....the Lord leading us along.
Of course I have a story....there's always a back-story! :D
The lady that I was staying with, back in June, [Ms. Lynda] when she had broke her leg, fell a couple weeks ago, and broke her [same] leg again, and she was in the hospital for a week because of how bad the break was.
So, since her family was busy working and couldn't be there for her, I felt that I should go and be with her.
And so the Lord allowed me to stay in the hospital with her from Thursday until Monday, but at the same time, our pastor's mama [Ms. Brenda] was in the hospital too because she had pneumonia.
And since she has cancer, they put her in the oncology department.
Well, to make a long story short, there was a family across the hall from her and it was pretty obvious that their loved one wasn't doing very well.
So we all started praying for them because we knew it probably wouldn't be long before they passed away.
So last Saturday morning, I was walking from Ms. Lynda's room to Ms. Brenda's room, and I was praying the whole way because I had yet to witness to that family because I didn't want them to take it the wrong way, but nonetheless, I knew I needed to at least tell them Jesus loved them.
So I just told the Lord that if/when I saw them, I needed Him to tell me what to say.
Well, sure enough, I'm headed down the hall to her room and they came out and I started saying something to one of the men, and he stopped and everything and let me talk to him!
I thought, Thank You, Lord!!
And so I just told him that we couldn't help but notice what was going on and I was like, "I don't know if it'll mean much to you or not, but we've been praying for y'all."
And he said it did mean a lot to him and he really appreciated it.
So from then on, every time I saw him in the hallway, he'd ask how our loved one was doing and everything and so it was just great!
I just love how God leads us to certain places at certain times!
And the ladies that were in the hospital are both out now. Ms. Lynda is in rehab recovering and Ms. Brenda is at home recovering.
Today I am thankful for....my nephews!
I love these little boys so much!
My oldest nephew, Jacob, told me yesterday that I was pretty!
Ah!! My heart just about melted! ♥
He has no idea just how much that meant to me!
♥♥♥
I sure am *Blessed*
Today I am thankful for...the Lord taking care of our needs....before we even know we have 'em!
This is Blaze's new ding :|
A lady that I work for was trying to back out of her driveway and she back right into my car!
So we went over to her boyfriend's car shop, and he wrote out a check for the damages! Praise the Lord!
So...a few days later, I found out that I owe back taxes for being self employed, and the check that I received for the accident was just about enough to cover the taxes. All I have to add to it is about 30 bucks!
Thank God!! He is so good! :D
Today I am thankful for....my new Pampered Chef stuff!
This is my new Rectangular Baker Stone that I got for my birthday, and some new paring knives that I was in desperate need of! And my new flour/sugar shaker that will come in very handy while making biscuits and pies! ;)
And today I am thankful that....Spring is almost here!!
I picked these little pretties up off the side of the road yesterday....so no...I didn't steal them from anybody's yard!
Lol!
My mama was like...Where did you get these?!
I was like, Relax mama, there was some growing on the side of the road so I cut some and put them in a vase. :)
Everybody down here has "buttercups" growing in their yard so you can see how funny that was that she thought I had cut some out of somebody's yard! :P
Well, I hope everybody has a great day!
I'm going to watch my nephew practice T-ball....*sniff*...they grow up so fast!!

What a sweet post Erica! That's awesome the LORD gave you the opportunity to speak to those people. What a blessing indeed. You're nephew is about one of the cutest babies I've seen! You truly are blessed. Thanks for sharing! :D
Have a wonderfully blessed day!
